1970年東京都生まれ。写真家の金村修に師事し、現在まで写真を撮り続ける。澤田の作品の特質は、漂白されたような都市のディテール写真と、印画紙、展示空間が関係性を帯びるように構造化（建築化）される。
Born in Tokyo in 1970. He studied under the photographer Osamu Kanemura and continues taking pictures to this day. The features of his works are detailed photographs of urban landscapes that look washed out and a structured installation which seems to cause the relationship between photographic paper and exhibition space.
